Funding for TIA All But Dead. The Senate inserts a provision to a key bill that denies all funding to the Terrorist Information Awareness effort. It's a move that would make it much more difficult for the Pentagon to try to establish its massive data-mining spy network. By Ryan Singel. [Wired News]
This has to be the best piece of news I have read since 9/11. Now I want to know what made congress oppose the TIA program. Do a small group of people in congress actually have a conscience?

18 hours. Well, for the past hour I've been messing with Radio, but I should be sleeping by now. I feel like I never should have wandered off into this bloggin world. I mean it's wonderful that I'm this interested in something that has had my attention for so long, but this is going to be dangerous. Just seems like there is an endless amount of information to read...and, here I have to go complicating the problem by adding more info to the whole mess.
